In one of the most exciting games in school history, Upper St. Clair scored an amazing come-from-behind win over rival Peters Township 86 to 81. In the win, Tanner Gensler set a school record with 42 points. Chris Pantelis hit a game tying three with two seconds left.
The Panthers are moving on to the WPIAL Championship with a big 70 to 62 victory over Butler! USC was led by Luke Gensler with 26 points, Luke Banbury with 17 points and Dave Pantelis with 12 points.
The short-handed Panthers fall in the PIAA Semifinals to Reading by a score of 68 to 46. USC ends a magnificent season with a record of 21 and 2 and a WPIAL Championship.
The Panthers move on to the WPIAL semifinals with a 62 to 59 victory over Pine Richland. USC was led by Andrew Casey with 18 points, Luke Gensler and Dave Pantelis with 13 each and Landon Rauch with 11 points.
The Panthers end the regular season with an emphatic win at Fox Chapel, handing them their first loss of the season by a score of 61 to 46. USC was led by David Pantelis with 16 points and Andrew Casey with 15 points. USC ends the regular season at 19 and 3.

Fifteen years ago today Upper St. Clair captured the WPIAL Basketball Championship with a 57 to 55 victory over Mt. Lebanon. USC started five seniors that day: Cameron Griffin, Eric Swenson, Scott Dillie, Sean Lee and Brandon Del Re.

With Norwin’s victory tonight over Mt. Lebanon your Panthers have clinched at least a share of the Section Championship for the third consecutive season. USC will host Baldwin on Friday evening with a chance to win it outright.
The Panthers win in an incredibly entertaining and high level basketball game by a score of 66 to 64 over Baldwin to clinch the outright Section Championship. USC was led by Devin Hall with 22 points. Nick Sukernek added 15 points and Matthew Gaither added 14 points.
The Panthers win their opener by a score of 87 to 82 over Seton LaSalle. Senior Nick Sukernek had a game high 31 points. Senior Matthew Gaither added 24 points and junior Christian Ito had 16 points.
