I've driven to Lincoln to support a member who was busted with enough flower to turn into oil for his mum with cancer. His mum died and he was left with the flower - now he's facing several years in prison. I'm here to support him. Stopped in a motel on the way up. Early start.

Just spoke to a friend & club member who has been put in prison for extracting cannabis into oil. 6.5 years. He informed me he will be released on October 22nd as part of the early prisoners release program. All nonviolent drug offenders will be let out. No more prison for weed!

This patient set up a grow for the same cost as joining a clinic. When I asked him why he hasn't got a prescription legally he said " I've looked at the [clinic] prices and the amount I need would cost more than I earn in a year as a disabled person." #right2grow

One of our collective grows in the Midlands. Grown to make oil and then that is tested and then carefully dosed into edibles for patients who are unable to grow their own. Edibles reduce many patients need for inhaled doses through the day. 60 day supply of oil for under £90.

Clinics will tell you that home grown cannabis is inconsistent batch to batch and then change your prescription every month due to supply issues anyway. Meanwhile 4 of these plants at home under a 150w LED will take 12 weeks from cutting to dry & give you 200-250g. 22% THC. #gyo

This patient was charged with production with intent to supply to his disabled partner living in the same home. As a result they were evicted with their children & nearly lost them to Social Services. This is why we need to #decriminalise and give people the #right2grow at home.

Cannabis Social Clubs are safer than leaving cannabis to be sold on the streets. They require Age ID, for you to be over 18 (in some cases 21 or 25). Members grow their own and make their own edibles and extracts that are sold through the clubs. It supports the local economy too!

If you are prescribed 2g of flower a day, that's 500mg of THC. Why can't you get 500mg of oil prescribed a day? Because medical cannabis clinics don't know what they're doing. Because medical cannabis clinics are here to profit off whatever legal form of cannabis they can.

A small patient grow. This tent is only 60cm wide and 140cm tall and has a 100watt LED in it, a 4 inch extractor fan and carbon filter with an air circulation fan. Works with 1-3 small plants. Yields 4-5 oz. You don't need loads of room if you don't need loads of cannabis.

What are we doing to people as a country when someone with a medical condition is still being harassed by the police for his cannabis use? Being forced back on to opiate pain medication but being restricted doses that actually deal with the pain in the same way cannabis does.

@NHSEngland is this OK for practices to be doing? Telling patients who are quite capable of finding published medical research showing the safety and efficacy of cannabis in pain management and the millions using it safely in the US, Canada, Israel, Netherlands. Quite insulting!

What becomes of patients that are forced to grow their own whilst they wait out this long process to get a valid prescription? Can you blame them for not waiting and doing the really simple act of growing their own? Should the police be told to not press charges? Why raid at all?

Will you instruct police & the CPS to not prosecute patients using cannabis as a medicine now @NickHurdUK ? Can you decriminalise patients who are stuck in limbo while this convoluted system has its kinks ironed out? Patients contact us in fear that they will get arrested still.

Norfolk Police have just busted 100 0 plants in a grow they say is worth £1million. Still I bet the cost of this cannabis was far less than what patients are made to pay. If the people growing it could test and label it legally, and pay tax what would be the problem? #right2grow
