Rotobrush 3 in the After Effects beta is a huge improvement to rotoscoping. This was done with only painting with one frame and some settings tweaks. Does a decent job of when the ball is released and even attempts to recover when another player passes through the frame.

Color grade matching TV footage with your footage just hits different 😂 I'm by no means a color expert but always try to make sure that the footage is close to our Sony camera colors. That way it makes it less jarring to interchange and watch in a sequence.

1 second speed effect thingy 🏃‍♂️ took me almost two hours of trial and error in After Effects to get it to look right. Probably a similar youtube tutorial out there, but sometimes you just learn more from pushing different buttons 🤷‍♂️.
