In 1957 a large group of IRA men came into Brookborough with heavy machine guns and bombs attempting to kill as many Protestants as possible led by Seán South. Two RUC officers with sten guns successfully pushed them back and humiliated the IRA. No Surrender! 🇬🇧☘️

Something I noticed in Limerick when I last visited. I went to visit a local protestant church which I am a massive supporter of, but I noticed that it has been marked with a IRA slogan and group name. This sort of harassment to protestant churches in the RoI is ignored by news.
