IMRO Sports Broadcaster of the year 2020🎙
One year ago today we lost our great friend Pat McAuliffe. The most dedicated Sports Broadcaster with the most wicked sense of humor. We travelled & drank together and shared so many great stories. To say I’m missing him would be the biggest understatement of the century.
Many observers doubted it would happen, but the Liam Miller tribute game is completely SOLD OUT. Sports people of Cork and beyond again show their great generosity. Role on September 25th. United for Liam.
A former team mate challenged me to do 100 Keepie Uppies inside a minute KT. He shouldn’t have underestimated the educated left foot. Did it in 50 seconds and even obstructed by little Lola. 👍⚽️🇮🇪

We have lost one of the funniest hard working Sports Broadcasters that I have ever known. They don’t make them like Pat McAuliffe anymore. I am truly blessed to have known him. There will be an empty seat in the press box tonight and
@Turners_Cross
will never be the same again.
Presenting my first Premier League Live show for talkSPORT on Saturday. First up Fulham v Arsenal 12-30. Then it’s Crystal Palace & Southampton at 3 & Liverpool v Leeds United at 5-30. My guests include Ray Houghton and Tony Cascerino. Join me online on
Five years today we lost Dad on his birthday. The man who introduced me to the Beautiful Game. Always in my thoughts. The birds echo your voice. How sweet the sound.
Dug up this pic with 3 Cork Legends. I was recalling the story about The Clare hurling fan who was served by Teddy in his pub in the mid 90’s. He says 2 all Ireland’s in 3 years for Clare boy, beat that. Customer says. See the fella that served you.? 2 all Ireland’s in 3 weeks.
A huge thank you to everyone who has sent their congratulations tonight. Wasn’t expecting it but absolutely thrilled. A huge thank you to the main man
@JP_Cork
and to
@FiFinnymac
I’m just one member of a great radio family

Six months today Mam. 🙏💔 If flowers grow in heaven, Lord pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mothers arms and tell her they’re from me. Remembering you Mam is easy, I do it everyday, and I also wanted to thank you before you slipped away. Forever in my heart Goose. T 💔x.
My Uncle Mick passed away yesterday. A unique man. A very witty smart man who worked for Fords Funeral from 1963 to the naughties. He drove the Kennedy’s in Cork in 63. Drove Ray Davies, the Kinks & many more but would never talk about it. Here he is at Christy Rings funeral 🙏
40 years behind the 🎙 this year, It’s been quite the journey & the dream continues.Hard to believe that I have commentated on all of these major competitions. Thanks to all

I am absolutely shocked with this news. The most dedicated Cork City fan you could find. He gave everything to the club. He was the heart beat of
@CorkCityFC
my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. 🙏
Lifelong Cork City fan, John Kennedy has sadly passed away.
I've never known a more dedicated, die hard Cork City man, he was Cork City FC.
My thoughts go out to the family, friends & all involved at Cork City FC.
We've lost a good one.
"City till I die & beyond"
Four years ago today we lost one of the greatest characters you could wish to meet. He loved his job, he loved his Sport, his Music and life itself. He had a wicked sense of humour and of course we would lose him on April 1st.

I knew from the day that John Caulfield was appointed as
@CorkCityFC
manager he would bring success to the club, but no one would have predicted the amount of trophies he brought back to Cork in just 5 seasons. Think there should be a role for him in the new look
@FAIreland
Shocked to hear the news of the passing of Teddy McCarthy. Had great conversations with the great man down the years. A huge loss to the GAA family and beyond. Thinking about his family and many friends at this very sad time.
