@Architectolder Yes, you can climb the dome reaching the inside first and then the outside. Worth the fee, around €8 I think, if you have the mobility to do the climbing which at one point gets a bit tight and inclined. An incredible experience I recommend! My pictures 📸 Vatican City 🇻🇦

This is a Michelangelo. It’s the Risen Christ completed in 1521. It is said that Bernini used it in his Aeneas sculpture as a model. The lion cloth was added later, and not by Michelangelo. It is located in the Santa Maria sopra Minerva in Rome.

If you go see the most famous Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy 🇮🇹 make it a point to see it during the day and also at night! It is so beautiful! An ancient aqueduct still carries water to it after collecting it 10 km (6.2 miles) from the Italian capital. Isn't that amazing? My 📸

Visited the historic Pera Palace Hotel in the "Little Europe" neighborhood of Istanbul. A French-Ottoman architect living in the city designed the hotel in neo-classical, art Nouveau & Oriental styles back in 1892 for the purpose of hosting passengers from the Orient Express!
