The Rivers State Government has withdrawn its charges against me for a lack of merit. This is not just my victory, but a victory for the people of Rivers State, a victory for the people who are tired of undue oppression and corruption.

Today, I visited the Rivers State secretariat complex, and I was sad to see the decay it suffers.
The culture of poor maintenance is eating our infrastructures alive, not to talk of the ones we intend to build. We will put an end to that culture.
