STUFF I DID IN THE 80’s: “It’s Just a Fantasy”. For a couple of magical years it seemed like all the world was playing D&D. By ‘83 my friends moved onto other pastimes (i.e., chasing girls). I shelved my copy of D&D for the time being but its lasting effect on me was profound.

My daughter enjoys the Tolkien books and films as passionately as I did when I was her age.🧝‍♂️Here is my contribution to J.R.R.’s legacy: the cover to “Unfinished Tales”, released by Del Rey Books back in 2001, featuring Bilbo reading a manuscript in Tolkien’s study by firelight.
