Read this. Levine admits they aren't using PA data to make decisions. And says they ARE using data from a summer camp in GA. REAL data between PA and GA shows the difference is like night and day. Ridiculous statements coming from a person who presumably believes in science.

The lack of leadership by @GovernorTomWolf is profound! 72 hours before fall sports start, in response to a question about parents watching kid’s play, he says that he recommends all sports canceled until 2021. What is the basis of that statement? Science? Politics? Pressure?

Comments after watching 7v7 highlights: - You know what a pass that takes longer than ~2.8 secs is called? A sack - In games, QB’s don’t complete passes after 4 hitches standing 2 yards behind the LOS. There are players called lineman standing there Don’t have worthless reps.

7 on 7 highlights of 4 verts TDs where the QB hitches more than once should be banned. That’s not a TD, that’s a sack. Ditto for any ball a QB throws more than 2.9 seconds after snap. Sack. Compete in these things to become better, not to develop bad habits.

Thoughts on creating a great HS passing offense: ➡️Must protect with 5 vs all 5 man pressures ➡️The slot WR always has a great matchup vs LB or S ➡️Be great at WR screens ➡️Change personnel if you can. D RARELY subs ➡️Teach QB to make decisions, not reads, then trust him

For any football coaches who enjoy philosophy: Spread and particularly high tempo offenses are antifragile (per @nntaleb ) to the chaos they cause. Said another way, they expose the fragility of the defense. Each snap has a disproportionately higher negative effect on the defense

This kid has been a PLAYMAKER since the day he stepped on the field as a freshman. Has a chance to rewrite WPIAL and PA records and lead Mars to championships. 💍🏆 An All State level player as a soph and one of many kids we have that will play at next level.

Finally, the most important group - the OL! They made it possible to increase our scoring from 77 pts in '21 to 350 in '22. That was 4th among all teams in 4A/5A/6A. Very proud of what they collectively accomplished! (Apologies - I couldn't find a photo of everyone.)

Watching all these offers and twitter feedback. An observation: if you get a PWO to a school you couldn’t otherwise get into academically, or to your dream school, over scholarship ($) offers at other schools, you should consider it. Think about the next 40, not the next 4.
