Mar 25, 2003 - Fritz Spiegl, the Austrian-English writer & musician, died at the age of 77. Spiegel adapted the Johnny Todd folk tune to create the Z-Cars theme that is synonymous with Everton. He lived in Liverpool until his death.

May 15, 1985 - Before the match, Granada Reports’ Elton Welsby interviewed ITV pundit Brian Clough in Rotterdam. In incredible scenes, 25,000 travelling EFC fans were inside the stadium over 1 hour before kick off creating an extraordinary atmosphere.
