- PB was dead today but Blackpool was heaving. - Got asked by staff to do a survey and pointed out the pricing issues. - 40% of Valhalla's effects were broken. - Ghost Train is still in a state. An amazing day as usual but we need urgent change. So much missed potential.

What an absolute waste of money. We've got two other SBNO rides that are supposedly meant to be reopening at some point. Why not invest this money towards fixing those, or the "new attraction" that is being planned as a replacement for this?!

I can confidently say that BPB is back on track as the best park in the UK, as operations and availability were brilliant today. I'm not defending what was a very poor show last Saturday but people need to realise that sometimes things go wrong, especially on opening days.

That was the best visit I've had to towers in a very long time! Does make me believe to an extent that my hard feelings stem from the fact that I usually visit on a Saturday (not by choice lol). Great operations, quiet, park in good condition and forbidden valley was incredible!

🔥 VALHALLA UPDATE (25/06/2022): - Extra speakers near the entrance + Song of The Elders at the exit. - Audio nice and loud. - Faux fire was reaaonably good. - Soundtrack playing quietly on the second lift hill as well as the strange noises (whatever they are). (1/2)

Blackpool Pleasure Beach are holding a meeting today on whether to open this Saturday despite storm Dennis. If they decide against opening, the park will hopefully open on 22/02/2020 providing the weather conditions have improved.

Wallace was clean today but: - One scene near the end was completely broken resulting in 20 seconds of darkness/silence. - The rabbit still triggered twice cutting out the end sequence. - The final screen displayed a homescreen with Instagram, iTunes and YouTube (what the hell?)

@JoeyAmarin It's Merlin's poor operations that are causing the issues. I never waited longer than 15 minutes in one of these queues during my trip to DLP and they require the same evidence as Merlin do.

@glittabones @THORPEPARK @THORPEPARK you seriously need to consider starting Fright Nights a week earlier next year (1st week of October like you did last year), as sold out mazes and queues of this length are detrimental to customer satisfaction. There is clearly a demand for the event to be longer.

Valhalla tech rehearsals began a year ago today! I have loved following the journey of what is one of the best dark/water rides in the world! It has come so far since my initial ride in 70% darkness and I really hope the park continue to add to it going forward!

How come everyone is so shocked by the 1.3m height restriction? 😂 Icon at BPB (also manufactured by Mack) has a 1.3m height restriction therefore this makes total sense. Height restrictions are determined by manufacturers rather than parks.

@JoeyAmarin Simple answer: PB and Thorpe are much better parks! Towers is good for the UK but it has many issues: it's too big, the coasters don't do much for me, it lacks flat and water rides, good food is limited and reliability is bad. Never understood the mass hype.
