According to Sikh traditional sources, Guru Gobind Singh performed Hom at NainaDevi for 6 months, after which Devi appeared and offered him sword to fight for Dharma —whereafter he formed Khalsa. There are written records of Guru & his father declaring NainaDevi as their Kuldevi.
