We’re very sad to announce the passing of RPD Ethel who served with Surrey & Sussex police dog unit. Ethel had a cancerous tumour pushing against her heart and lungs, and following £4,000 worth of treatment funded by the foundation, she sadly passed away. RIP Ethel. 🌈💙🐶🇬🇧

PD Britt from @KPTacOps was called to assist after reports of a male feeling suicidal in woodlands. Britt tracked from the male’s abandoned vehicle and located him near a tree. The male was then taken to a place of safety to receive the help he needs. Great job PD Britt! 👏💙🐶🇬🇧

On his very first shift as an operational police dog, PD Max from @DPPDogs located a missing mother and baby on the edge of a ravine. They had been missing for two days and had already spent a night outdoors. Thanks to PD Max, they’re now safe and well. 👏🐶💙🇬🇧 #policedogs

Following reports of a stabbing this morning, PD Captain and his handler from @WMPolice attended the incident. Captain tracked and located the suspect, who decided to run when challenged. However, PD Captain also likes to run and quickly detained the suspect. Great job! 👏🐶💙🇬🇧
