90% of my trading income came from. Expiry trading... I decided not to trade actively on other 4 days. On expiry day, 80% of my profit comes after 2 PM... So I have decided to trade only from 2 to 3.30 I am a 90 minute a week trader now.

Don't give up your job unless you have min 1 crore and you have made more than 20% pa on that capital for atleast 2 years. If youn have less than that, then it's better to do a 10L pa job. Most successful traders are successful because they have multiple source of incomes.

So the brokers lobby had their way @NSEIndia First reduced lot size to benefit brokers who charge brokerage per lot. Now reduced max qty per order in nifty to benefit discount brokers like Zerodha. Nice way to rob traders and compensate brokers for removal of intra margin.

1CR compounded at 2.5% per month (net of tax) becomes 4.25CR in 5 years. At this stage, a 2.5% per month income means around 10L per month... Just target 2.5% to 3% per month ...you will be doing fine in 5 years.

I will give a trick for hero/zero options on expiry @AshishGupta325 try it.. At 3 pm.. In Nifty.. On expiry day... Buy any call and put which is trading at 0.50 to 1 rupee (usually 50 points away from spot) .... One of the leg will definitely become 3-4 before 3.30 ..

I see a lot of screenshots of 9.20 straddle sellers daily with large profit or losses... If it's a trending day = profit If it's a choppy V day = loss But they never reveal the hidden losses (brokerage and taxes) It's very costly to do ATM straddle selling daily.. Trust me.

Final update from my friend ..trainer is roughly 15% down on capital plus another 5% due to costs. Followers are 25% to 30% down. Day 1 over I will be keen to ask him how next 4 days go

One of my friend is attending a famous option buying 5 day webinar that started today ..in the first 3 hours itself he has lost 25% of his deployed capital and tells me there are no rules just total discretionary buying happening ..even the trainer is down 25% of his capital

In my last 3 years on option selling .. the only option selling strategy that has 30% to 40% ROI per annum with a MDD of just 2% in the last 3 years and 95% accuracy... is Expiry trading... There are strategies that give 100% per annum too, but MDD is often 10% to 15% there.

PRS charges 50k for basic option selling course, similar courses available for 10k by other trainers but PRS won't accept those trainings. And then he goes to complain about hospitals over charging for testing and not accepting others test reports. Kettle calling the pot black

I trade expiries daily....yet at day end if people ask me which strikes I sold OR where did Index open and close..I don't remember anything. If next day people ask me how did mkts move yesterday, I blank out. Is it just me or are there other traders like that ?

I always wondered why I felt more excited during trading hours and less excited at 3.30 even when I was in profit. It's clear now, the dopamine is higher during trading and profits at the end may not trigger the dopamine spike.

A famous option buyer front runs his trades...he trades with 400 traders ..each trader pays 5000 a month. Trader will first buy and then ask others to buy..he will first exit and then ask others to exit. Is it morally right ?

Learnings from last 3 months of daily expiries struggles. 1. Keep daily profit expectation low to target 3% per month. 2. Once daily target is achieved, risk off to deep OTM as mkts not letting traders hold profits 3. Start with deep far OTM, come closer on spikes only.
