In February 2003, The Lagos state government led by Gov. Tinubu disbursed ₦100,000,000 to 48 mission schools that were returned to their former owners(Missionaries) for effective take-off of their schools. The LASG also paid ₦227,000,000 for the WASSCE fees of 91,075 students.
