I think it's insane that 'The Girl Who Waited' did old age make-up this good compared to '73 yards' when one was released in 2011 and the other in 2024. Like, they didn't even try.

It's weird to think that whilst David Tennant is incredibly popular with the general public who see him as the face of Doctor Who, he's massively underrated and, quite frankly, disrespected in the Doctor Who fan community. Considering how much he has done for us, makes me sad.

I love the 14th Doctor, but if I could make two small changes I would have had Tennant keep the beard, and allow him to use his Scottish accent. Could have made a joke about how the 12th Doctor has imprinted on him with the latter case.

The irony of all this is that Chibnall fans should be thanking the gods for RTD and the 60th, seeing as it's the only example of any sort of emotional weight or consequence to events of The Timeless Children or Flux.

No disrespect at all to some of the previous Doctors that had more of a hands off approach when it came to learning about the shows history... ... BUT its rly cool that Ncuti has engulfed himself so much into the role that hes able to make obscure references like this. Love him.

This is such an awesome bit of character building/continuity for The Doctor to say he will return it first chance he gets, but instead nicks it for himself and keeps it on him for 9 incarnations. It's like a 30 year joke finally being paid off. Genius by Moffat, honestly.

Media treatment of Peter Capaldi in DW has been nothing short of horrendous since he was cast. I remember the BBC blaming him for the shows poor ratings in an article announcing Jodie to the role. The man gave everything to the show, and deserves our love and respect.

Originally Twice Upon a Time was 90 minutes long, but was cut down to 60 by the BBC. Peter Capaldi deserved a much more fleshed out story for his final episode, and I feel it's time that we get to see what was originally intended. Get this trending. #ReleaseTheMoffatAndTalalayCut

I gave up on Doctor Who midway through Series 12, only watching a few episodes in the Chibnall era after that because I realised the show wasn't for me anymore and I wasn't enjoying it. The 60th was the first time I enjoyed the show again in 6 years.

I honestly don't think there's a single story that has the kind of atmosphere that Wild Blue Yonder has. It just oozes with dread, loneliness, fear and a certain kind of uneasiness that makes it a tough watch at times. Brilliant stuff.

Unpopular opinion but it's about time they have some rules put in place. Some of the stories they have done over the past 10 years with what seems like a "3/4 character randomiser" approach have truly diluted Doctor Who for me.

The best thing about this is, this ain't the Russell T Davies of 2005-2010. This is a Russell T Davies who has matured and evolved as a writer the past 12 years, culminating with Its a Sin - the best drama of last year. He's an absolute titan of the television industry.

Ideal scenario for me, Matt Smith makes a scene stealing one scene cameo near the end of the 60th where the 14th Doctor visits him on Trenzalore to speak about if he wants to move on in a new body or stay stuck in the past as his old.

Aside from how great he is as a person, he's also one of - if not THE - finest ever actors that we've had in the role. Consistent 10/10 performances week in, week out. His popularity and resonance with audiences isn't a coincidence and you aren't cool or edgy to hate him so much.

The one aspect of the 10th Doctor I was worried wouldn't be in the 14th is his emotional immaturity and his inability to be composed when the chips are down and I'm so glad to see it back as it's what I find him to be so intriguing. David Tennant just owns moments like this.

Having the Curator return was my tip of the iceberg as it retroactively makes the 50th feel less special. Sure you CAN have Jackie Tyler meet River Song, Adric and Churchill, who all team up to battle The Voord in a 5 part boxset, but you aren't doing that to tell a good story.

@TharriesYT I love Series 5 but imo it really didn't continue with RTD era themes, the 60th built on almost everything set up by Chibnall even though most fans would have preferred it ignored. RTD took a massive risk doing that, and a lot of 13 fans still mock and berate him. Infuriating.

Best part of 'Journey's End'? The final scene. The guts it took to leave the finale of DW on such a depressing ending. He went from having a full family of companions, to absolutely nobody. On a personal and mental health level, this is truly one of 'The Doctor's' lowest moments.

@TharriesYT There's a reason why The Doctor went back to being 10 as well, the one incarnation that didn't want to let go of being himself. It almost feels like a defensive mechanism after all that The Doctor went through since then, allowing him to revisit the one who couldn't accept dying.

Is this the most honest and raw the Doctor has ever been?? Finally showing how broken he is because of it all and not hiding it. Love this scene so bloody much. #VolcanoDay

@TrilbeeReviews I'm afraid you're mistaken, he said this 6 months ago to Radio Times but he was speaking about Boom.
