Video is never diagnostic but I really don’t know how JK Dobbins tore his Achilles on this play. He’s even walking off field (with help) and by appearance can plantar flex (push off) which is really uncommon with tears. Maybe a partial tear? I don’t know.

Looks like #Padres Manny Machado has a left inversion ankle sprain. This can be very painful but fracture is unlikely. Depending on the severity it can be a multi-week absence. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the 10 day IL.

Some thoughts on Christian McCaffrey hamstring injury: Grade I strain would mean 1-3 weeks missed Grade II 6-8 weeks Since 2018 reoccurrence rates: 20% (which is in line with research among sports injuries as a whole) When a player miss 3+ games reoccurrence jumps to 25%
