Starting today, I'm the founder of Herbology. Herbologians worship a living god, the herb plant. It can calm a troubled mind, give answers when questions are asked, concentration when distractions abound. Has a nice smell to boot.

I took this photo in 2016. With 2 young kids, I'd quit my job as an IT Officer to start a new job as a junior software engineer. Money was tight and I put all I had into my family. I wore these shoes bare. Raining season was hell cos my socks would be soaked.

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. On the subject of earning 4/5 figures as a dev, mind you, your skills are important, but who you know is importanter. People who knew what I could do gave me my proper break. I worked hard to be good, but knowing people got me the job

This is how I learned to program. For example, you see the @ feature on twitter. When I use it, I ask myself, how could one do this, then I research and build. Gradually you learn different technique and tricks and your skill set grows. Your job will teach limited skills.

Rules I learned about money - Don't talk ill about money. It will avoid you. - Don't make noise about money. It will run away. - Build true value. You will never fear losing money. - Be generous. Money tends to return in greater folds. - Real rich people tend not to look rich.

"Submission" in relationships is the most misunderstood word. It does not mean enslavement, being a doormat, losing yourself or devaluing yourself. It's an act of respect and deferment because you trust and value what your partner brings. Strong leadership and provision.
