Hello moots and followers,
I am writing this to announce that in a few weeks time, following the end of season 1 of the Acolyte, I will be walking away from twitter.
While I have enjoyed my time here, the recent increase in hostility in the Star Wars fandom has been(cont)
Always loved how they managed to film this scene in away that didn't feel sexualized but instead highlighted the raw vulnerability of Caitlyn's emotions over Vi walking away.
@MaceAhWindu
I've noticed this with a couple of Marvel's recent antagonists, where they make some really valid points that make sympathize with them and then have them do something morally wrong to make you question supporting them.
Namor being another good example.
@artemisfowl
Someone clearly didn't read the book. Artemis is supposed a cold, calculating criminal mastermind and Butler is basically Agent 47 from Hitman.
Also why are he and Holly acting like besties in this? He literally kidnaps her in the book.
One of the things that makes
#Willow
so special that it feels like a classic fairy tail adventure, complete with enchanted forests, fairylike creatures and swashbuckling swordfights. It's a level of fantasy escapism that has been sorely missing in recent years
#RENEWWILLOW
You ever think about the fact that the story opens with our two lesbian characters? that they are first ones we latch onto emotionally? And that Jade's attraction is established right awaay?
Still crazy that this is coming from a Disney show and I won't shut up about it.
We need to
#SaveWillow
not only because of it's amazing lesbian representation but also because we more fun escapist fantasy in a media world dominated by fantasy shows that make themselves depressing and hard to swallow so they can be "realistic"
This fall, a new adventure begins. ✨ Watch the teaser trailer for

Why
#Willow
is so important in today's world of fantasy television, a thread.
Over the past few years the fantasy genre has strayed away from hope filled epic adventures like Lord of the Rings and towards more darker and cynical tales.
I feel like this is easily the perfect hook for a show, the mystery of who these characters are and why are they fighting draws you in immediately. Then you actually get to meet them and get a sense of their dynamic and dreams.
Appreciation post for the amazing Pansexual icon that is Chyler Leigh. This woman is one of my biggest queer heroes and she deserves the world.
Yes I am making this post to spite the homophobic Hallmark fans.
@mirideku
Not to mention many of his more diverse characters were based off of people he actually knew. many of them were his students and their family members from his days as a teacher. He has always made sure that everyone had a hero in his books.
The true testament to
#Andor
's writing is the fact that it has you rooting for Dedra Meero in the first half because she's the underdog of her story. Only for the second half to remind you that she is still a cruel, merciless fascist.
TELL COMPLETE STORIES
We need to see what happens from this scene. Three seasons were promised. The first season needs to be returned on a stream, any stream, just one that treats Willow right and promotes it.

@MaceAhWindu
The chip also adds a deeper layer of tragedy to order 66, the clones were loyal to their Jedi generals and some even encouraged the clones to form their own identities. But then that independence was stripped away and they became not much different from battle droids
This opening will forever be iconic, starting the story with your two main queer characters and firmly establishing their feelings in the first two minutes?
incredible
Today I’m happy to officially report that because of your combined voices, passion and amazing efforts -
#WarriorNun
will return and is going to be more EPIC than you could imagine. More details to come! SOON! Thank-you!!

Will never forget learning that the reason why Padme’s dresses were so big and flamboyant was because they had secret compartments carrying weapons and shield generators.
The Naboo continue to be the underrated badasses of Star Wars
One of the things I love about Kit and Airk is how they pretty much the opposite of how their character types traditionally look and act
Kit, the princess, is the broodingly handsome one whereas Airk is the pretty airhead frolicking in meadows.
@dailywencIair
It's funny how Wednesday had no interest in joining the Poe cup but the second she found out Bianca was to try and hurt Enid she was like "Hell no, I'm joining that cup and giving her that win"
I just have to say. Everything about
#Willow
the show, the cast, the fandom, is so much fun! I don't think I've had this much fun in a fandom in a while.
@NajaSide
@artemisfowl
Yeah she was pretty no nonsense in the books and took her job seriously.
Also, as much I love Judi Dench I hate that they made commander Root a female character. It completely ruins Holly's character arc.
@shinwrenism
The difference between him insisting he did the right thing and Torbin admitting that they thought they were doing the right thing.
Sol really gaslit himself into thinking his actions were justified
