I think some people are too harsh on Shelton. He didn’t turn pro until he was almost 20. And now a year and a half later he’s won a 500 and been in a slam QF and SF. He’s made immense progress and it’s acknowledged here by Mannarino.

NADAL is out of AO but India’s finest Sumit NAGAL 🇮🇳 makes it through to the main draw, defeating Molcan 6-4 6-4! Struggling physically at the end, it was a great effort from him to see it out. What a qualifying campaign for him. He’s into his first slam since 2020 US Open

So some good news. It seems the Korea Open will go ahead. Unfortunately the tournament will not be open to spectators. This will be the first WTA tournament held in East Asia since the start of the pandemic.

🇯🇵 Moyuka Uchijima qualifies for her first French Open and doesn't she deserve it? She's just won her 18th consecutive match, defeating Raluca Georgiana Serban 7-5, 6-4
