The best graduating student in my secondary school became a VP at an international bank before age 30.
The best graduating student in my university owns one of the biggest asset management firms in Lagos, Nigeria.
Life isn't scripted.
The best in your class doesn't have a job yet one with 2.2 or pass has a decent job and doing so well.
Different folks, with different destinies.
You can't understand how the universe operates to be honest.
May God not allow you see the issue that makes people resort to loan apps.
Rising inflation rates in Nigeria means people can’t even afford to feed.
Let’s have some empathy and tackle issues from a macroeconomic scale.
Being the first person to break a pattern in a family is hard, back breaking work.
You have to remain continually in prayer
You have to consistently renew your mindset
You have to avoid going back to familiar places where those patterns reign supreme
Hate to be the one to say it but many are hiding under the guise of schooling to avoid the real world.
Acquiring so many certificates with no real-life experiences/application of what you're learning.
Education is so important but it's better to use it to solve problems.
If you like, follow Twitter people and become resentful of your Nigerian employer.
When things go south, you’ll know that you were taking advice from students and people with no real world experience.
I wish the church taught more young ladies how to maximize their single season, expand their mindsets and invest in themselves.
On this journey you’d definitely find better quality husbands.
If you’re not careful, family problems can weigh you down as a young person and hinder you from progress. Leave that conflict environment as soon as you can.

Was laid off from my 9-5 on this day last year.
This was me, an entrepreneur who’s hung her boots, gone back into paid employment and then being laid off.
Went home that day, worshipped God and told my parents at night.
Continued with my ‘side hustle’ as usual.

If you’re super early in your career, please avoid taking advice about putting bare minimum in your jobs.
That’s the time for you to work hard, network, gain skills and develop a good work ethic.
I will always pick Piggyvest over these other investment apps regardless of how high their interest rate is…. because for me, return of my money is more important than return on my money.
I have ZERO sympathy for any caught fraudster.
Try doing business internationally as a Nigerian and see how much you have to do to gain trust.
Let them round everybody up.
Take some time today to reflect on the following:
1. Where do you want to be in five years?
2. What do you need to do to get there? (action steps)
3. What do you need to know to get there? (filling knowledge gaps)
4. Who do you need to have around you to get there (network)
I just witnessed a really wholesome moment.
A new neighbor came in to this house yesterday and today his friends from church came to visit, I heard lots of laughter and they eventually prayed for him before leaving.
Community is so important.
Life opens up for people who boldly go after opportunities.
Whether they feel qualified or not.
The ability to immerse themselves in training and development to boldly go after what seems out of reach is what sets them apart.
The best thing you can do for yourself as a Christian is to surround yourself with fellow believers wherever you are.
The community is so necessary for your walk.
And for your edification.

I’ve noticed that when you’re trying to work on expanding the quality of your life, people that have known you in the past will try to cut you down to their size.
Ignore and keep moving tbh. People are going to talk about you regardless.
@sandraaaa_mo
I pray for you that your innocence will forever be preserved and that you never encounter unscrupulous characters.
Because people can pretend for decades.
Ask women who saw their husband’s second family for the first time at his funeral.
I don’t take it for granted that I can walk into any restaurant and eat what I want without doing mental calculations.
Some years ago, this was not possible.
Jesus, I thank You for changing my story.
I plead with every young person I find these days to put in the work.
You cannot 'personal brand' your way out of life, you need good work ethic to really thrive.
The people you're modelling after have put in work for years, decades even.
New wealth is usually created at the end of chaos.
Would it be best to take your eyes off the panic for a moment, focus on what you can control, and adjust yourself for the opportunities coming out of this?
I think so.
Resist the temptation to compare yourself with your peers, you do not know the amount of work they have put in behind the scenes.
If you have put in the work, persist and put yourself out there; the right time for you will come.
In my line of work I’ve come to discover that it’s the people with the most unreasonable demands that cannot afford to pay up.
Think there is a correlation somewhere.
For your own good and for the reputation of your business, tread cautiously with accepting low-paying clients

A mobile/web app that crawls all over the internet to show you where you've registered accounts and inputted all your personal details so you can delete/unsubscribe?

We’re both Believers.
Imagine if someone said they stopped believing in the faith because of what they saw Christians do around them.
I don’t think throwing the baby with the bath water is the best approach.
PS: I’m just seeking to engage please.
Saw my friend’s new JD and I’m reminded of why it’s so important to grow with your friends.
Is it not running around with ladder to decorate chapel we were doing a decade ago?
Now it’s Director, Vice President etc that’s on bios.
Glory to God for growth
I am tired of seeing menstrual cramps update on my TL.
Ladies can we have some decorum to this please?
I’m not saying it’s something to be ashamed about. God forbid I say that.
But we don’t have to announcing to the world when we’re flowing🙏
It’s unnecessary information 🙏
I want to sincerely appreciate everyone who’s stood with and by me and my family during this difficult time.
We laid my mother to rest on Sunday. May she continue to Rest In Peace ❤️
Beware of ‘sudden’ fights and unexplainable conflicts happening at the edge of your breakthrough
Distractions sent by the enemy
Take the humble part, let it go and FOCUS
I don’t even mean to offend anyone but being completely aloof about things that are happening in the world around you makes me think you must have amala for brains.
1. Don’t ever rely on one income, work towards having multiple streams of income, even best when it is automated and passive.
2. Do your best work with what you’re given and in any situation you are in. It may just speak for you when you need it.
3. You won’t die.
On this entrepreneurship VS employee issue.
From my experience, I will never advice anyone to go cold turkey into entrepreneurship without going through a 9-5 first.
You need the experience to run your business effectively.
Every single idea I had gotten in the place of seeking God has turned out to be a success.
It didn’t even look like it when it started at all.
Thankful for obedience.
