My father in law collected guns. He hunted, did some target shooting, occasionally kept a handgun for personal protection. He had a lifetime membership to the NRA. He gave it all up after Sandy Hook. Because his guns weren’t more important than those babies. Be like my FIL.

@AnExpiredTwink @oldenoughtosay Chicago ALSO has long blocks- though lots of alleys- and we’ve had bins FOREVER now. Sure they get hauled around & occasionally spray painted, but it’s so not the dramatic problem.

@nialashaeee_ My aunt was a front desk clerk in her working days & she assumed she worked at her memory care facility, too. The staff was lovely with her, even though I’m sure she made their job harder, but she was really stuck in a happy time in her life & we were so grateful.
