Today, we welcomed another member of the Playhouse team back from furlough. Tomorrow, we're gonna announce an *actual* show. It all feels super cautious, as it should, but for the moment... we're getting there 🙌
Some positive Monday news! This morning, we were really pleased to hear that, along with lots of other organisations, our application for a grant from the government's Culture Recovery Fund was successful.

This autumn, we're picking up where we left off in the spring. Jason Robert Brown's iconic musical The Last Five Years returns to The Large from 1 to 31 October 2020 in a newly configured socially distanced auditorium with a limited seating capacity.
We're on a quest to become a totally plastic-free theatre so as well as always offering free tap water, we've switched to cans of water at the bar because they're completely recyclable and go from our green bins back to the shelf in as little as 60 days. Cheers!
Following a sold-out preview period, congrats to all the cast and creatives on a fantastic press night just gone!

We've moved three times but we've never closed.
So, even though the shutter's down...
We're leaving a few special lights on 💡❤️
