Can anyone explain to me why you can eat indoors at a restaurant, sit in a pub but you can’t sit outside and watch a non league football match which has plenty of space to distance from fellow fans. Football is one of our great remaining exports lets not screw it up

All of our players have very kindly agreed to take a 20% wage cut until the end of the season - it gave me no pleasure to ask as I have always honoured contracts in or out the game but I need to ensure that the club is still around for the start of next season whenever that is.

Relegation hurts but the manager, players, Hugo and Mark and all staff did everything they could. In the end it wasn’t enough but it was not for the lack of trying. Next season we will be stronger for it, lessons have been learnt and I am so proud of the team for never giving up

Massive ticket sales our visitors @bostonunited have sold 341 and total season tickets and on-line sales now number 1,212 with another 50 pre sold by box office. Usually we pre sell 3 to 400 so should be a cracking atmosphere - come early let’s have a day to remember

Despite what happened I think we should be very proud of our team last night, they gave their all and battled for everything in any other night we leave with a point. Huge shout out to our fans for making the journey, great support from Southend too

Huge loss not only for King’s Lynn Town FC but the wider football family with the passing of Mick Wright. Mick’s record speaks for itself, it will never be broken and he was a truly humble gentleman to boot. The club will find a way to permanently honour our remarkable servant
