Nobody says "RBIs don't matter!", Bob. The pushback on RBIs comes from using them as a skill measure. "He has 20 more RBIs than this guy, he's way better!" without any consideration for lineup context. THAT was the pushback on RBIs, not their actual usefulness.

Char has a herniated disc that is being treated over the next 4-5 days at the vet w/steroids and other meds. She still has feeling in her back legs which has the Dr. confident of a strong recovery. Nothing is guaranteed, but the outlook is solid. I'll keep y'all posted!
