This is why Godzilla (2014) is my absolute favorite film from the Monsterverse. The shear enormity of these creatures was conveyed perfectly by always having a more intimately human perspective. Just wish I appreciated that more when the movie first released.

Getting to watch the entire Showa era series in one go was fun. Glad to see my favorites along with ones I've only seen once or twice. Son of Godzilla, which I had not seen before, was better than I expected, and I'm glad I finally completed my viewing of the entire series.
