Nvm I lied I’m not done. Vox’s affection for Val is much more subtle, but it’s still obvious. There’s the stalking, lighting his cigarette (which is known to be an act of intimacy in old Hollywood movies), holding his hand like a gentleman, and the fond looks. Man is OBSESSED.

Val is a monster, but he’s also impulsive, fruity, and petulant, not the perceived 24rr smooth Casanova. Vox isn’t the nerdy bf who’s afraid of Val, but rather a charismatic manipulative stalker. (Ironically in SOME ways he shares more traits with Fanon Val than Canon Val.)
