Earlier, I compared per day casualties with US in Vietnam & Ukraine today. Losing that many men & women daily was just unsustainable for US. Our vets were not treated well back then, but they deserve the best. Ukraine needs all the help we can give them to finish this war.

What a day folks! Sweden/Norway/Finland/Denmark/Poland/Estonia/Lithuania/Latvia are all united militarily with Sweden being the new BIG partner in NATO. That leaves Russia under watchful eyes & Kaliningrad a very isolated pocket. The Great North NATO Sea is in good hands.

My brother sent me a still of my acting debut in Body of Evidence starring Madonna. Filmed mostly in Portland in 1993, my partner & I heard that they were looking for extras-we went on a lark, walked in, & the talent folks said "There's two detectives!" Got to meet Madonna too!

Just back from picking up my Kitty boy's ashes. I was fine until I saw the paw prints. Oh my gosh. But a very nice card and the plaque is also nice. I have several places in mind for his ashes. He loved his outdoors garden. His favorite chair in my office is empty.

Just got the call from the vet. I can pick Lucas up at 4:00. He did well but they did have to remove that loose piece of tongue. She said it's another (very bad) dog bite injury. He has several deep puncture wounds on his tongue as well as ragged wounds! Just awful but he's okay

My friend in Portland who fell and hurt his ribs, sent this pic from early last evening. A magical scene I think! Looks like an ice hotel room. Those look like single beds of snow! BTW, he broke no ribs but is better but still sore! Frustrating if you've hurt or broken ribs!

@KSergatskova Some very graphic pictures were to be found at the time & I don't envy your time there or after having witnessed such horror. Some of those on the ground had their own horrific encounters with human & airplane wreckage as well. Corpses falling from the sky. Just sickening.
