It seems like Happy Chaos was stealth nerfed in the new GG Strive patch. His steady aim reticle takes 2(?) frames longer to fully focus, which makes certain combo routes using the focused shot impossible and his pressure now possible to mash out of for some characters. #GGST_HA

Day 2 gio defense against bedman? seems rather privileged. IBFDing the normal before 236H in the corner allows you to whiff punish on reaction with the infinite. Backdashing 236H midscreen allows the same thing.

Roll has a unique property when the opponent is cursed to make the ATR reticle track onto them faster than normal, which lets you get a guaranteed shot after roll in neutral against still opponents (you have to delay the shot a bit to give it time to lock on)

New corner mix discovered! Combining a 66 2K > 623S tick throw with Leap to catch jumps creates an inescapable command throw. This makes use of the fact that Leap whiffs on crouchers. Their only hope is stand-blocking leap to make the throw whiff, still leaving Zato plus (cont.)

#GGST_HA #GGST_HC Finally found a use for the instant overhead on HC. Instant safejump setups after 2D > focus. Requires the 2D to hit fairly close, but covers DP, supers, mashing and backdash. Also unreactable so if they choose to block it's likely they'll get hit

So it looks like I won't be able to go to #Evo2022 . Had a positive covid test last week and I'm still feeling awful. As big of an opportunity as this trip was for me and as lucky as I was to have a chance to go, I can't risk getting other people sick. I'll be watching from homeπŸ‘οΈ
