אני סטודנטית בקולומביה. אתמול הסתכלתי לאנטישמיות בפנים. גם ביום שלפניו. וגם ביום שלפני. ארבעת הימים האחרונים היו גל ענק של אנטישמיות ששטף. באותו רגע עמדתי מולו איתנה, או מנותקת. עשיתי את המיטב כדי לשמור על עצמי הפיזי. לא שמרתי על הנפשי. אי אפשר לשמור. אתה צופה ונשרט.

1. אכזבה יותר קשה מעלבון. הכי שורף זה היהודים. קבוצה של יהודים התחילו לצעוק עלינו בעברית, רק כי שמעו שאנחנו ישראלים, גרמו להמון הזועם עם הכאפיות לצרוח עלינו שאנחנו נאצים- כמה ילדים הרגנו היום וכו׳ וכו׳. לא פגע בי שהם אמרו ככה. בחיאת, נאצית אני לא. ולקרוא ליהודים נאצים זה כל כך

2. מבט יכול להיות גרוע יותר מצרחות. אתמול יצאתי לנשום אוויר והתיישב לידי בחור שלקח איתי איזה סמינר. השיחה הייתה ידידותית והוא היה חברותי, סיפר שמסיים עכשיו כמוני ורוצה להיות מורה. התחיל לדבר על כך שהתקופה קשה לו כי הוא מאד תומך בפלסטין (משום מקום,) שהמשפחה שלו במקור מאירלנד למרות

זה בעיקר עושה לי להתבייש. כי בו בזמן, יש חטופים שנמקים בעזה, מחכים לישועה ועוברים גהנום עלי אדמות. כבר חודשים שתולשים פה את הפנים שלהם מהמרחב הציבורי, אבל הפנים שלהם מלוות אותי לכל מקום. יש חיילים שמזנקים לסכנה אמיתית ומקריבים את ההקרבות הגדולות ביותר, שנשרטים באמת כדי שאני אוכל

3. יש בי בושה מהפחד. אני אשקר אם אגיד שלא פחדתי. כשאני רואה את הסרטונים מקולומביה, הבית שלי בני יורק בשנים האחרונות, מתהפכת לי הבטן. אבל הדבר המפחיד ביותר, יותר מסטודנטים שמזדהים עם חמאס, שמאיימים לשרוף אותי ואת משפחתי ולעשות לנו השביעי באוקטובר לנצח- הוא השתיקה וההסכמה של הרוב.
