We had a MASSIVE rig that had to be lowered from the lighting rig height down to the stage for the hologram to project onto. Initially we were going to project Michael as a hologram. But, Janet couldn’t get through the whole song in rehearsals without getting choked up.

From local box pusher 2 Lead tour Rigger/Automations in less than 5 years. But, it took being willing to get crap for pay at first while learning the necessary skills to level up. (u must also have the self-honesty 2 stop and re-assess if u find u aren’t good at it.)
