I was raised to just say “I’m Afghan”. We never break it down by ethnicity. That was always considered inappropriate. Afghans in real life just ask “are you Afghan?” and the response is usually “yes, I am Afghan”. Then we talk about which town or region our parents are from.

Farsi/tajik are the oldest and most indigenous people in Central Asia, atleast 1400 years. Other ethnic groups such as Pashtuns and Turks were nomads up until recently, even today Pashtuns have nomads. So it’s funny that a nomad is calling settled people (Farsi) non native 😂

🤦‍♂️ In Farsi we have a saying “those who don’t know history will repeat it” and these kalankars want us to repeat what happened in 2001. They want non Pashtuns to fight for a Pashtun name, Pashtun flag and a Pashtun cause. Sorry but we don’t want our Tajik youth to die for this.

Two of them, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, have the largest Tajik population outside of Tajikistan. @Huma_Media @DaiFolad_ Hello my advice to hazaras from a Tajik. Pls introduce urselfs as hazaras in the world. Currently no one knows what a hazara is cause u all introduce urself as an afghan. U never see a Kurd calling himself Turkish or Iraqi but always Kurd, same goes with assyrians. Wa Salam

As bad as the Taliban regime is, it is still 1000 times better than the previous regimes of Karzai & Ghani. Our people were left with 2 options, Taliban or Ghani, they chose Taliban. If you want taliban gone, propose something better. Not the return of the “republic”
