A great big thank you to all of the Daisy nursery children, I hope you all enjoy your holidays, and good luck moving onwards and upwards in reception, I will miss you all, Mrs. Suniga.
We are very sad that we could not have our final day in school like we had planned but thank you so much to all of our children and their parents for all of your support, patience and kind words this year. We have loved teaching your children and watching them grow.
What a fantastic day day we have had together. I think we will all sleep well tonight. Thank you to Mrs. Middleton for informing Santa that Daisy children have been good.
We are hoping the Easter Bunny hops by this morning. A big thank you to the grown ups who dressed up this morning to deliver eggs. The Nursery children were very excited entering Nursery today!
Our day started with lots of discussion and thought. A Daisy informed us his grandma and grandad can’t come inside his house now because of a virus. We all agreed this is quite sad. We decided if we sing to all the people who can’t visit us it would make them happy.
We hope everyone has a fun filled summer with their families. Thank you for all your support, we have loved teaching your children. Miss Wilson and Mrs Hill.
We are super excited that we are staying all day today in nursery. We can’t wait for lunch already! Miss. Wilson and Mrs. Hill are excited to have lunch with all of nursery today.
We can’t wait for the children to see what Miss Wilson and Mrs Hill have made for them in the construction area! Will they build a tall tower or a castle to put themselves in?
We have been working on positional language by filling up the Daisy bus! We listened carefully and sat next to, behind, in front of, in between and beside our friends.
We enjoyed a story quiz this morning. It was a very tense quiz as there was one point between teams. Team Shark were crowned winners. The children answered questions about plot, characters and key vocabulary. We were very proud of both teams who answered questions well.
Miss Wilson and Mrs Hill are still standing after a busy day! Note for parents and carers - the sunglasses are a gift from Nursery we hope your child enjoys wearing them! 😎
Little Red Riding Hood came to read our story today. The children were quite speechless when she entered the nursery. Mrs. Hill was sad she missed her!
Today was a wonderful day at Nursery! We spoke about how you can’t go to the shop to buy a smile or a happy feeling so we knew the best gift of all is to spread joy. We did this by singing Christmas carols to the teachers and children at school!
A special message from Mrs Hattan and Mrs Hill, thanking the grown ups who attended the trip today. Behaviour and engagement from the children was excellent! We have went home today feeling very proud of our outstanding children.
We have been on a journey together around the school grounds. At each location we collected a souvenir to add to our journey stick. We used the souvenirs to discuss where we had been and were able to use them to plan our route back to Nursery.
This week we are learning about full, empty and half-full. Leo, Oliver R and Oliver S gave us some excellent examples of our newly learned mathematic vocabulary
We enjoyed listening to our focus story by the pond this morning. We all agreed it was the perfect spot to listen to the story ‘The Teeny Weeny Tadpole’.
What a fantastic audience attending the theatre this afternoon. Mrs. Hill received a cheer and applause at the end of the performance. We were a very good audience.
It was lovely to see so many of you joining in with our story and song session live this afternoon. We look forward to seeing you all again at 2 o'clock
Check out our obstacle course! We pretended that the floor is lava and that we mustn’t fall. Excellent balancing skills combined with critically thinking about body movements and coordination
