Sean Dyche. He played 1 reserve game in 1994 for Sheffield United. He was recovering from injury with his club Chesterfield and the Blades let him play for the reserves as a favour. Back then all Unitedโs reserve games were at Saltergate. He scored in a 1-0 win against Blackburn.
In difficult circumstances Paul Heckingbottom handled himself with class and dignity.

On Thursday, Blades legend Nick Montgomery, was rushed into hospital with a badly inflamed appendix.
He underwent surgery, and spent good Friday recovering in Gosford Hospital, Australia.

On this day we remember Alan Woodward who passed in 2015. Many regard him, rightly, as one of the greatest to ever to pull on the red and white shirt.
'Woody' scored 158 goals for United, even more impressive given he was a winger and made a total of 538 league appearances.
