Since the 26 blocks became an Open Street, the Sanitation Dept has ceased to clean it. There have been no street sweepers that have gone through. Not even when the the street is unchanged - except for the barricades. So I guess barricades stop the Sanitation trucks too

Today on the Open Street we have homeless begging and a drunk sleeping it off on the median. Is this what the DOT had in mind? This is a residential 26 block span. Now it is a horror. It is time to STOP THE TAKEOVER.

I think this says how the residents feel about the invasion of Citibikes. We never wanted them. They did not listen to the residents. They did not listen to the Community Board. 100 CITIbikes 132 planters 80 granite blocks Anything to destroy our neighborhood. WE WILL FIGHT!

This invasion was not wanted by the residents. Community Boards were told they had not choice A contract had been signed... It is just another way to get rid of street parking. The lobbyists and their deep pocket supporters are making lots of $$$ and 🪛 us at the same time.

It’s almost as if putting a ridiculous number of Citibikes in neighborhoods where most people have yards and garages makes them redundant.

Hogwash!! As a disabled person I need my car to get to medical appointments in Manhattan. But I cannot afford the unfair Congestion Pricing "tax". Nor can I afford the high cost of an Uber or Lyft. These lobbyists are a joke. I can see right through their lies. And so can you

Congestion pricing will make it easier for people with disabilities to get around New York City. ✅ New funding for transit accessibility projects ✅ Less congestion for Access-A-Ride riders ✅ Cleaner air to breath

Major invasion of CITIbikes in the area. SO MANY! This is on 81st St off of 35th Ave. Why here? This is 3 blocks from the #7 station - very walkable. Just a ploy to get rid of parking spots in this densely populated residential area. @Shekar are you happy about this?

Foot traffic in New York City’s business districts is still down 33% from what it was before the COVID-19 pandemic... After CONGESTION PRICING goes into effect it will be worse. Businesses are suffering now - just wait... After they will be gone WHY?

This sign has been hanging like this for over 24 hours. Multiple 311 reports have been done. Even 911. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO FIX IT This is Northern Blvd & 78/79 Street. Lots of people walking, driving & biking there. It is dangerous! How does it work in the City of Yes?

The lobbyists are always comparing NYC to other countries and places. Now compare us to Italy. This is what Holden's bill 0758 is asking for. Why are City Council Members not all lining up to co-sponsor this bill? What do these lobbyists have on them? What do you think?

I am sorry but the residents of that area were told this is for their use. The DOT wanted more open space in this "park deprived" area. Now the lobbyists are trying to bring nonsense to this residential avenue. 😡 Now leave Jackson Heights as a peaceful home for the residents!

Today on the OS on 34th Ave: from a resident: "I never thought the day would come that I would see this sort of stupidity in front of my house...All these strange people —-while the locals sit quietly on the benches looking on like —- can these people just go home."

The police report states that this poor guy crashed into a parked car with no one inside. Again these lobbyists are spreading lies which carry resulting harm. What the danger is the CITI e-bike & an inexperienced cyclist. BTW no helmet was found Know who the enemy is! YEP!

The city is in worse shape - dirtier, crime is up, e-bikes and mopeds speeding and running red lights, more DOT changes to our streets & much more. The city's financials are in worse shape also. Budget cuts to essential services but more $$$ going for nonsense. Just pure bull!

The 69-year-old pedestrian who had been struck by the rider of an electric Citi Bike last week has died of her injuries. We demand that the @NYCCouncil take action immediately to protect our residents. Bill 0758 would require ever lt e-bikes registered + accountable.

This is the party line of the lobbyists. Not a word about the speeding e-bikes & mopeds, the running of red lights & breaking every traffic rule. Not a word about the disabled residents who live in NYC. They are an average of 11% of the population.
