I was assaulted, threatened, blocked on my way this morning riding a #bikenyc . I had nowhere to run because both sides of the street are free car parking. @CarlinaRivera people’s lives are more important than car parking.

Some details: First of all the bad news - this program is seasonal with NO opportunity for restaurants to participate year-round. This will be hard on restaurants and is a disappointment. That said, there's a LOT to like in this bill! Mostly just that it's finally done!

Our family will need to pay $53.75 in order to take the Air Train and then 2 Subway trains (1h15min travel time) and then haul the suitcases from the train station home . Or we can pay $52 for a taxi (45 min-1hr). I wonder what option should we choose.

Never forget that when Seoul, Korea removed the Cheonggyecheon expressway in 2003 & replaced it with a restored stream & 1000 acre park in the city’s centre, not only did it transform the city’s public life & economic success, but the traffic got better. The traffic got BETTER.

The crossing guard didn’t show up today so the block in front of the school building is open to through traffic: these 5 parents blocking the #bikenyc lane are able to drop off their kids every day without blocking the bike lane. It’s just that if you let them they will do it.
