I'm 4 years #sober . I'd spent my entire adult life drinking to excess nearly every night. I can't just have "one beer". 4 years ago I stopped, cold turkey, and haven't slipped once. Its been hard sometimes, but it's getting easier to make it through. I'm pretty dang proud.

While my memory is a bit hazy now as it was about 25+ years ago, I'm pretty sure that Rifts was the second #ttrpg I ever played after #dungeonsanddragons and it blew my damn mind. I will always go back and look through this book for the art. What was your 2nd ever #ttrpg ?

TW : Health issues Hello. I've been diagnosed with squamous carcinoma. Large cancer spot in my tongue. Doctor is hopeful if we get it asap it can be removed. It's survival rate is high, but the road there is gonna be rough. Give your people a hug.

The next #Starwars #ttrpg I run, the PCs will be Padawans. After a few sessions when they get comfortable during the #clonewars I'm gonna drop Order 66 on em and let the fun begin. I want them to escape Order 66, and do their best to find other Jedi who have managed to escape.

When we were young, #BoxingDay was always #ttrpg day with our gang. We'd spent Christmas getting goodies and being with the family, then we would spend all Boxing Day playing games. Usually a fancy one shot that Milhouse came up with. Even now, I text Milhouse about Boxing Day.

My mother has been sick for a while now. She's too weak for any more chemo. She wants to be home. They're setting up hospice in her home this weekend. Nice words would go a long way tonight. Not sure how long she'll hold on.
