My sister wasn’t picking up her boyfriend’s call because she was writing an exam, homeboy pulled up to her school and told the administration that it’s a family emergency….God it’s me again🥺
Phume asked a genuine question. Because vele why do you guys suddenly stop supporting us when we post paid work? It’s like the moment we use the hashtag ‘AD’ or you see ‘Paid Partnership’ yol just don’t engage. 😣
@phume22
From this moment on. She must never know peace ever again.
Someone tell
@Lalela_lali
that the organisation will come out unharmed and continue just fine, but she will forever be known as the black Miss SA who went to compete in that country.
If you’re a CA(SA) and you are not in Europe this summer please call into SAICA tomorrow just to make sure ukuthi your qualification is make sure yini…
I swear they had a conference in Europe and didn’t invite you, I suggest you call and ask…
Miss SA Lalela Mswane arrived back in South Africa after participating in the Miss Universe pageant in Israel. She was met with a backlash from some quarters for her decision to participate in the competition. She shares her viiews.

@GCULondon

Yhu. You guys are on a diff league. A guy i know also got a new job and his current employer countered, basically offering him 150% of his current salary.
This??. CA(SA) is a profession not a job! What are FM’s earning?, investment bankers, auditors, entrepreneurs, consultants. Then take into account what the different industries pay. this needs a deeper dive
I can’t believe how
@Discovery_SA
has bamboozled me. Using a low premium to lure me in and then increasing that premium by 90% 3 months later.
Claiming “incorrect information” and “system issues” which one is it?
This is so unethical and I can never trust this company
@Unathi___
Oh definitely!! Remember that there is a life after CA(SA) that comes with it’s own challenges, so enjoy the journey to getting there, be the best student and trainee that u can be now. Enjoy the moments, celebrate them too. Work hard so that u can be YOUR best version of a CA.
Surely Promo Twitter needs to reinvent itself. The current structure is annoying. Flooding our TLs with generic tweets, hashtags and the same image aowa.
For a role that requires you to be ethical and also monitor the ethics levels of others, why are you lying and misrepresenting yourself UNPROVOKED?
No matter how brilliant the person, you can’t look past this.
We don’t appoint certificates in companies except in professional roles like CFO, Medical Specialist where the certificates are necessary proof of expertise. Thabi messed up by lying about an unnecessary PhD, but how come nobody comments about her as a person or they only
Just became overcome by a feeling of gratitude for the life that I’m currently living. Yonkinto iright, i’m comfortable, at peace and happy. I wish i could bottle this in forever. Grateful ❤️🌸🌷

2. Adopt a repeat candidate, help them work through their scripts, offer guidance, support and encouragement. Even if you assist 1 person through the process it can make a difference. Also being closer to the process brings about perspective.
Vincent being elected the new chairman of SAICA is so inspiring. The win is so close to home and I have no doubt he will do a stellar job and lead the board with integrity and honour!! I’m so happy 😭🎉
@CoruscaKhaya
I would just say to the individuals that are concerned to not let the next academic period go by without ACTIVELY getting involved. If you’re a qualified CA, you can
1. Get involved, become a paying member of ABASA, AWCA & get involved in their structures & initiatives 1/
@CoruscaKhaya
The organisations are not sitting on their hands, but there needs to be consistent and collective work done. as black CA’s we do not deserve the luxury of happily ever after if we are not bringing others with us.
She is not wrong but her energy is off.
It’s definitely hard but don’t act like people don’t think, plan and try their best to assimilate. Some people really thrive. You can also have different objectives, some people go, do what they need to do and come back. Some people build
South Africans living abroad are coming forward about the challenges they face while living overseas.
The most common challenge they all complain about is loneliness followed by the high cost of living in other countries, they say affording basics such as meat
is a challenge.
