There are patterns to building out topical clusters. If you're confused, these are the *core* pages you need to build 👇: 1. What is 2. Best X 3. Topic vs Topic 4. How to 5. Topic [alternatives] 6. Common (issues, mistakes, benefits). 7. Types of [topic] Use these and build! 🚀

I don’t know who needs to hear this but stopping SEO after only 6 months, is the equivalent to being on a diet for 12 weeks and hoping to lose weight all year. SEO isn’t a fad. It’s not a bounce-back opportunity. It’s an INVESTMENT into your business.

The best SEOs I know, don’t have a big social media following. They’re not talking about SEO everyday. They’re quiet multi-millionaires. Doing SEO entirely different to how agencies and freelancers do it. This world fascinates me. SEO really can be a life-changing tool. ❤️

You're overthinking SEO. If you're starting from zero, do this: 1. Pick a topic. 2. Write 30 articles. 3. Post one article a day. 4. Repurpose across social. 5. Buy foundational backlinks. 6. Branded PR campaign. 7. See what ranks. 8. Optimise. 9. New links. 10. Repeat. ✌️

Actual local SEO hack that works: Facebook ad traffic to your location pages. - Small 5-mile location radius. - $50 ad budget. - 7 day campaign. Best case: you get leads. Worst case: you rank quicker. SEOs will say this won't work. I say you haven't tested it. ✌️

The more you simplify SEO as a strategy, the better. It doesn’t always have to be technical. Research a topic, write about it every day. Build a fast website. Connect relevant pages both internally + externally. Mix up your traffic sources. Basics CAN win.

SEO is fundamentally three things: - Content that has a purpose. Detailed, targeted, unique. - Links that drive traffic. High-value, high-quality and, volumes. - A website that kicks ass. Quick, reliable, easy to navigate. Ongoing SEO is making all 3 perform better.

This is going to be a really easy way to explore new niches. Good job @ahrefs -- definitely one of the better features you've added IMO! Let's go!

This is what's wrong with the SEO community. SEO: 'look, I've done something new and made it work for me. Here's actual proof'. SEO community: 'no, sorry, you're wrong. My theory about this working is much stronger than your evidence.' 👉🗑️

It’s ironic that ghosting is probably the most alive it’s ever been in the freelance industry… People book calls, pick your brain, use up your time and then poof, disappear. I’m considering starting a list of people/companies who’ve done this. Call it ‘SEO Ghosthunters’.

I'm wildly excited to announce that I'm joining @riseatseven as their Search Strategy Director. Time to get shit done. Time to change what 'search' looks like. I couldn't be happier about joining the team. (Comfiest couch I've ever sat on, BTW). Let's go! 🔥

You know it's bad when SEO gets in the way of your passion. I desperately want to start a website/YouTube channel/podcast around mental health. But the immediate thing I think about is... 'this won't rank.' What is life? 🤣

I know everyone hates AI applications for SEO. But it's so powerful. 🔥 I've just written a 2,500-word article on a complex women's health topic. It's personal. It's factually accurate. The header structure is natural. It took me 3 minutes. I only had to brief the tool.

Next time someone tells me to 'get over' my mental illness, I'll break their legs and then tell them to walk it off. #MentalHealthMatters

I manage 20+ sites with 90% of them being in YMYL niches. The update *only* seems to be hitting the sites where link building hasn’t been happening as much as others. Early days but I’ll be interested to see how this plays out.

I built myself up to $50k/m as a freelancer. It’s sexy. It’s fun. But… What you don’t see: → Isolation. → Huge sacrifices. → Loneliness and sadness. → The impact on personal life. If you think it’s easy, freelance your way to $50k/m. Then come talk to me. ✌️

Local SEO is such an EASY win for small businesses. I'm learning as I go. I'm by no means an expert. Here's everything that's worked for me: 1. Site structure. 2. On-page SEO. 3. Citations. 4. CTR. 5. Brand stacking. 6. PR 7. Map embeds. 8. Schema Site structure Don't

Asking for me. 👇 Has anyone ever hit that point in their lives where they feel... lost? Professionally more than anything. I second-guess everything. (I've written this post 4 times already). I'm stuck in a loop of comparisons and overthinking. It's stopping me from moving

Waited 7 days for some work to be completed by a pretty well-known SEO agency (I paid upfront). Jump on a call after a week. Turns out I could only have that work if I planned on continuing to use them. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
