Castle Nathria did it best, raid was mechanically good (as no mechanics needed removed via nerfs) and the raid was tuned to be insanely hard as the RWF guilds went in very undergeared and therefore the raid got passively nerfed by the 15-25+ ilvls people gained from week 1. 1/2

If raid bosses are gear checks rather than pass/fail mechanics (Sepulcher was full of them) and make week 1 you go in very undergeared to every raid the majority would be happier rather than just the 100-200 people going for RWF the raid mechanically shouldn't be tuned around us.

@RogerbrownWoW Perhaps you're forgetting a guild had to go in to get Dathea and Kurog tuned (Dathea perhaps one of the biggest nerfs of all time for a mid tier boss) I think you'll find why a lot of people are happy about this raid being tuned the way it was is because no nerfs were needed

@RogerbrownWoW Do you believe sanctum would have gone until Tuesday when you killed it world first with what we do now? We put so much time into learning the new systems and splits we would've had fully dom sharded chars and the tier would have been "undertuned" as well. Only ourselves to blame

@Dr_Hawtsauce @MadsCajar Ye I agree, gear drops need to stay how they are now but a work around to this is just reducing the Ilvl of heroic and mythic to account for the extra piece, so 4 players getting a 12 ilvl increase would instead be 5 players getting 10ilvls which should result in a similar gain.
