To those saying "Ed Miliband had a 15-point lead too": Miliband's personal ratings were apocalyptic (Starmer's are merely mediocre); even when they had large poll leads, Ed's Labour was way behind on the economy and other key areas. Labour now ahead of the Tories on this stuff.

Peter Mandelson is the real gay icon. Arguably the most successful openly gay politicians this country has ever produced. The man was essentially deputy PM and held four separate titles at the same time and yet never gets the credit he deserves.
