I want to highlight CPT Sake. She is a princess, a fucking warrior, and a leader. She was hand picked to receive a Malu tattoo because she is THE standard all around. @USArmy didn’t feature this amazing warrior but I have to. Lots of internal reflection thanks to her bravery.

66 TOTAL women across FORSCOM vs 31k men scored over 500 points on the ACFT. I enjoy the ACFT but not at the expense of women not becoming NCO’s or BN/BDE commanders as a result of a test that favors men. The numbers are real, let’s fix it

My girls celebrated their birthdays this weekend I got pregnant immediately after coming home from deployments I was lectured multiple times about how I was impacting readiness and ruining my career. I hated the entire experience of being pregnant and postpartum. Do better ♥️

It’s been almost a year since AD 2022-06 came out. The most contentious part still seems to be publishing a CQ/staff duty roster 21 days out I genuinely don’t understand why that part is so controversial.. can we really not provide Soldiers 21 days notice prior to pulling duty?

25 years ago I left Nepal and landed in LA I’m celebrating the best thing that ever happened to me by hanging out where it all started I also landed in 🇺🇸 8 yrs ago today from Afghanistan.. maybe it’s my lucky day ♥️

Reading through a shocking thread of stories about sexual harassment/assault on a female officer mentorship page. The offenders on this round are GS15’s I always default to if it’s this bad for our female O3’s and above, what is happening to our E4’s and below I am sad 💔

@reddogpremier I’ve never been in a unit where the option was extended to men including my current unit. That’s part of the reason why it bothers me so much.

If someone is stationed at Ft. Polk, LA… where are they supposed to go? TRICARE doesn’t cover abortions except in very select circumstances. Soldiers and spouses have gone off-post this whole time. Where do we send them? What if a commander won’t sign the DA31?

No doubt that corporations have dumb rules too But I know the Army will always win the hold my beer game We still think getting soaked in the rain is more unprofessional than a plain black umbrella 🙃 I can keep going..

Walking through the Louisville airport 1. We might be in trouble if Americans have to follow rules to stay the world power 2. Same folks who scream “just obey the laws” seem to be the same folks who can’t put a mask on properly 🤷🏽‍♀️

One of my greatest joys and struggles in the Army has been my relationships with women I thrive on female friendships, the Army has delivered I’ve also been burned by the pick me girls, file complaints girls, and mean as fuck girls. Watching it live here makes me sad

I don’t want sympathy, I want awareness This “patriotic flag” store popped up in the local town where most Fort Knox families live I wish Army leaders would speak to community leaders about fostering a safe environment for all Soldiers and their families
