The govt owned Sydney Harbour Bridge toll was 20 cents in 1983. If this toll had simply increased with inflation, it would be 77 cents today (285% higher). In 2023, the toll is actually now $4.50 - a 2,150% increase. 😳 But we should be grateful for the kindness of government
