Last season we replaced home plate at our field. This plate has seen many great years of baseball. Instead of getting rid of it, we had this specially made for Coach Gumpf, as a thank you for everything he did for our program!
Congratulations to our seniors, thank you for everything you’ve done for our program and continue to do. We’re very proud of what you’ve accomplished! We’ll forever play for Aidan.
We are forever grateful for everything that he has done for our program! You have influenced so many lives on and off the baseball field. Enjoy retirement, you deserve it!!
Congrats to John Gumpf on a fabulous run as the St. Joe baseball coach.
Gumpf has decided to retire in order to watch his son Brady play @ Notre Dame. Gumpf will continue as Asst Athletic Director at St. Joe.
He coached the tribe for 14 seasons, winning the state title in 2017.

I found a folded up piece of paper tucked away in some gear. The note was left by 2018 grad and State Champ, Alex Voss. I got chills reading it!

Our season has come to an end. We accomplished many of our team goals. We competed until the very end. Our guys showed up every day, loved their teammates, trusted the process, and worked their butts off. We return a lot of young talent that will be hungry to win!

We are happy to announce Tyler Beck '14 as our new Varsity assistant coach. Tyler played five years of professional baseball, where he pitched, and was a part of the 2019 National Championship team at the University of Tampa. Welcome back, Tyler!
