@Dacollecter Yes, but that's the weird part. When 1610 Peter is being shoved into the collider by the Green Goblin, Gwen is amongst the five spider people he sees being transported. Meaning she apparently was sent a week back to before the collider exploded... after it exploded.

Settling on just being friends is also a pretty cheap cop-out to one of the biggest hurdles they face in their relationship, the fact that fate has it that Gwen dies if she falls for Spider-Man. Miles saying, "Well, there is a first time for everything," would mean nothing.

Why do people keep comparing Hobie and Margo helping Miles to Gwen? Gwen feared being sent home to a father who pointed a gun at her and was going to arrest her while Margo was eating Fritos at her parents' house, and Hobie never wanted to be in the Spider Society from the start.
