Suni's bodysuit is done! The minky scales are backed with lycra for extra comfort & the zip is slightly to the side so it doesn't interfere with the scales. The colour is absolutely STUNNING! Now all that's left is the head 👀 Azure blue teddy from @HowlFabric ! #SunitheDragon

As I said in a comment to @/WintersHowling - sometimes it absolutely pays to redo something if you aren't happy with it. Don't be scared to try different techniques or materials if it doesn't match how it looks in your head :)

Ratty paws (Hands?) Are done for @PixelPoot ! The mochi minky certainly made these an interesting challenge, and I've learned from these for future paws - however I'm very happy with how they've come out overall! They're a modified Kloofsuits five paw pattern!

"You got new legs Lt. Dan!" In all seriousness, a previous client came to me asking for new feetpaws, I took the chance to upgrade the bodysuit to my current style! It doesn't fit correctly, due to me being shorter & heavier, but this gives a good look into how it moves.

Got some house work done today (was needed!) So I spent 4 hours cutting and prepping the fur on this premade. I switched some of the white on the design out for baby pink and I'm in LOVE. Base is @nukecreations Fur is all from @HowlFabric Eyeblanks are by @HidekiDeer

The head is done!! All I need to do now is his tail & my first mini partial premade for cfz will be FULLY FINISHED! I'm so so pleased with the motion of his mane. It was worth the pain of all the cutting / back brushing & sewing it on!

Here it is! In all it's spotty glory :D Each spot is sewn in, and that blue fur was shaved down to give the appearance of a sleek cheetah. He uses the following furs: - Royal Blue Lux Shag - White beaver - Blue Raspberry teddy - Black teddy All from @HowlFabric

Rat partial parts are done! Since this video I've added some more fur to the tail base! These will be worn with a head that was made by @/radpandaUK - a collab for the owner @PixelPoot ! 1st time working with Mochi Minky on such a grand scale, really pleased with the results.

👀 here he is in motion! The weather was nice enough I could wear him comfortably :) I'm 5'2" / 157cm so that tail will lool bigger on me than on the client! I also didn't wear the feetpaws due to the feet size difference - I didn't want to accidentally scuff them!

A little tip! I cut off about 5mm off of my seam edges to help hide them more easily. The second photo has three pieces sewn together ;) alternatively you can pick fur out on the back, but I find this way less time consuming.

Because I'm getting a lot of questions on how I've done these stitches, I'm gonna answer them in this tweet! Stitch: Blanket stitch. Thread: upholstery thread. Needle: a normal standard needle. The reason why my stitches are neat and small? Practise. Lots of it.

Body shaping done! Next is the tail shaping, which means no space in my work room... But heck it's gonna be worth it :D It's all going to be padding stuffed, due to the Tail's size and weight - it would've made the body collapse if it had been foam. #VentheGator

A fur website has put their shipping price RIGHT up - This is for two yards of Beaver. I understand it's because UPS is in trouble at the moment, but please realise this is why fursuit makers charge what they charge. It's not all profit. A lot of us struggle to hit minium wage >
