The NHS is NOT just doctors and nurses.
Society produces information for members to respond to the media about who we are and what we do.
Let's make
#Holby
and
#Casualty
more accurate.
Our 48 hour strike has now concluded.
We will continue to fight for the radiography workforce. Our patients, our members and all healthcare professionals deserve better:
Thank you for the support ✊
#respectradiography
The NHS is in crisis now.
We need an immediate plan which includes: a good starting salary to attract trainees; pay restoration over a reasonable time to retain colleagues; and an end to the long-hours culture and dependence on expensive agencies.
#respectradiography
Paul Skegg, the SoR member with Gullain-Barré syndrome and Covid-19, has been making incredible progress. He and fellow radiographer Katy Telsa Lavender are now engaged. Katy says: The messages of hope and love were a lifesaver. Our thanks and love to the Radiological community."
“Our members have spoken, and it is quite clear that they will not accept another pay cut in real terms." Leandre Archer | Head of Industrial Relations.
The results of our indicative ballot are now available:
“We don’t have enough
#radiographers
to treat people. We’re seeing patient after patient, but it doesn’t make a dent in the waiting lists...”
We don't take strike action lightly.

It is hard to find the words to express my debt to the NHS for saving my life.
The efforts of millions of people across this country to stay home are worth it. Together we will overcome this challenge, as we have overcome so many challenges in the past.
