Just walking around Williams Stadium pregame. Let me tell you, Flames fans, this atmosphere is SPECIAL! Biggest game in school history tonight folks. Enjoy this one.

"I don't know how you would penalize SMU for playing two power 5 teams" -AAC championship announcer.
Maybe they should have won those games instead of getting boat raced!!
Hello everyone, my name is Ryan, and I'm a Liberty student now on Twitter to talk Flames sports. Follow along for my takes on Flames football, basketball, and other random Liberty observations.

Defense looks like Swiss cheese all game then steps up in the 4th quarter to once again hold them scoreless in the 4th. We've given up 6 4th quarter points all season. Absolutely incredible.
Despite what many Liberty fans try to tell you, this version of CUSA is a historically weak conference. It should not be Liberty's end goal to stay in this conference for the foreseeable future.
Not only was the game heartbreaking, every KSU fan I interacted with was just absolutely awful. Get me out of this town. Hope we beat them by 60 next time we see them in C-USA.
Both USF and Liberty are massive leaps back after building up a top program at Coastal. Rumors will be rumors until the inks dried! More worried about a Sun Belt title right now so please stop talking about it, thank you

I think we're about to learn that Chadwell absolutely makes QBs. McCall was nothing without him, and Salter won't be either. I'll tell you right now I'm taking Coach over QB any day
Officially on my way to Huntsville for the CUSA championship: I am experiencing Buc-ee's for the first time and I have never been more proud to be an American
I love talking football between JMU and LU fans. Both fan bases hate each other, while both teams are great on the field. Two 10-0 teams separated by only an hour drive? This rivalry game absolutely needs to be played more often. (1/2)
Some perspective: Liberty has lost three games. FAU is good, GCU is good, Charleston is average. Is what it is. This is one of the toughest schedules we've ever played. They had a bad shooting night on a day you had them beat. It happens. 🤷♂️ Oh well. It's a long season.
LU students are lined up *thousands* deep just to see a preview of our basketball team. Meanwhile football is playing with a real chance to win in an SEC stadium tomorrow. Liberty, absolute sports school!!!
Exactly. Salter was a turnover machine last year. This season he's one of the best dual threat QBs in the country and he's putting up record numbers. Incredible turn around in just one year. Thank you Coach Chadwell!
Coach Chadwell has done so much for us this season but one thing that i think goes overlooked is his development of kaidon salter. Last year, slater showed flashes of what he could be but looks scared and not the SEC caliber QB Tennessee recruited him to be. This year, he looks
This Liberty team we're watching is really special. They're loaded with weapons who can make big plays on both sides of the ball. Seems like every week someone new steps up and has a big game. This is a deep team that knows how to win. We're very lucky to be Flames fans right now
Day after thoughts: We really are spoiled here at Liberty. 3 championships and 5 championship appearances in the last 6 years is an insane run of success. Meanwhile Kennesaw is just now feeling relevant for the first time in 20 years.
Overall I'm thrilled with how
@07ksalt
played today! He protected the ball and was able to pick up some big first downs on the ground. Loved what we saw today and can't wait to see him mature even more throughout the season as he gets even more games under his belt.
I'm saying it again cause it needs to be said. There is no way, zero chance, that Tulane is a better football team than Liberty. Liberty would easily be 7-1 or better with Tulane's schedule.
Great game! The CUSA home court advantage holds true. This team has the ability to make some noise in the conference tournament if they stay hot. Last 3 games are huge for momentum.
What's frustrating to me is the lack of offensive adjustments, and it's squarely on the coach. 9-34 from 3 tonight. 8-35 on Saturday. What they're trying to do is not working and they're not adjusting!
Here to provide some perspective as always: Liberty really has been spoiled for the past few years. Conference championships are really hard to come by. Many never get to experience what LU has the past 5 years. Tough loss for
@LibertyWBB
, but the future is bright with this core!
