I have a 14 year old. We play catch all the time. He hits all the time. He reads books, does his school work and he eats cereal. But it’s not on Twitter. Work when no one is watching and damn, be humble enough to believe your work will show up in competition when needed.
If you’re working hard you don’t need to tell/show anyone, just keep doing your work and then eventually make your work show up on the field... all of the tweet videos of kids in a cage or on a pen mound, that’s not humble work. That’s LOOK AT ME. Save it.
To every ‘24 playr who intends to play college baseball (not wants to):
Whether you got a call today or didn’t. It changes nothing. You still have to work/earn. Many who got calls today will not be as good as those who didn’t. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard
Regardless of who I or anyone tweets or publishes info about… each kid who puts himself out there in an environment where there are not only dozens of colleges watching, but all the mlb scouts only feet from them… I’ve done this a long time, I applaud you all. It’s not easy
2019 INF Jackson Forbes of Vanden HS, also ran 6.75. He’s a talent that will make a program very happy. High level WR too.

Of N CA teams I'VE SEEN this spring, here's my Top 10:
1. Woodcreek
2. De La Salle
3. Clayton Valley
4. Buchanan
5. Franklin (Elk Grove)
6. Palo Alto
7. Rodriguez
8. Elk Grove
9. Archbishop Mitty
10. Cardinal Newman
Others Receiving Votes: Petaluma, Sacred Heart, SRV, Mtn View
Talking to D1 coach today at a game... I say, “too bad they’re (insert name) rarely as good as we’re told.”
He says, “I know, they almost never are.”
Some advice...
UNDERSELL THE PLAYER... let them exceed the expectation.
You can’t fool scouts who actually go see them play.
I don't understand why there are Washington kids on the N CA Underclass area code team roster. Stupid. Northern CA NEVER NEEDS players from other areas to supplement it's roster.
Davis Diaz has a great day... workout portion was 💴. LD single through middle in the sim game, SB, spectacular (well for him maybe routine) play up the middle. I’ll have to post the single.

Kids, if you ever are told or read that you are ‘a good baseball player’, take that as the best compliment. That phrase encapsulates intangibles and talent and very likely, all of your hard work. Aside from the
#1
compliment, (being a good teammate), it’s the best you can be. 👊🏻
The story behind how Nick Yorke landed with the Red Sox | WEEI
It’s all real. Every bit of what you’ll read here about Nick. Kudos to the Red Sox for their faith in their scout, who scouted the person that plays baseball. 👊🏻
I’ve seen him play enough... I don’t know what position he sticks at, 3B, 1B, C, heck maybe OF, but I’m 100% convinced
@CarsonSeeman
can and will hit in college. Seemingly from LCF gap to RCF gap every time. Run producer.

2020 LHP Riley Cooper ends 1st inn with K, 89 mph. Sat 87, T89 on two pitches. This matchup is one of top in Valley all season, Cooper v 2019 INF Hunter Bryan. Round one to Cooper.

One of nation’s top 2023 players, OF/LHP/1B Nolan Stevens of Franklin HS, went DEEP today, over batters eye. Sorry for bad angle… was in a chat then realized he was hitting… fortunate to get, regardless of the angle.

Considered to be one of the top catchers in the country. Potential unlimited. He will catch and possibly play 3B in Tucson
Going to be a good Underclass ACG team from N CA. There is deep competition for each spot. SS Davis Diaz and SS Cameron Butler would make a heck of a MIF but there are others... McCuistion, Delic, Saldivar, Forrester, Haskins, Trosky. Some very good players will not make team
I swear each time I see Cardinal Newman 2020 OF Drew Lombardi I see him triple to RCF. Every damn game. Never seems to leave that good middle/oppo approach.
@CNHighSchool
@TonyLombardiTLo
2024 OF Jayden Lee of Marin Catholic, one of most athletic and gifted players I’ve seen in the class. 6.6 runner (has for below that before), OF arm 86 at recent event. Excited to see what the future has in store for him.

Gotta love it, former player of mine (Greg) and former associate scout of mine (Jordon). I’ve been fortunate to be around some good coaches as they have built their careers
Greg Moore has announced the hire of Jordan Twohig as Assoc. Head Coach. Twohig brings 14 years of coaching experience, serving on 8 different staffs and with 6 different collegiate teams including a stint with SMC from 2004 to 2006.
Full Release:
I don't understand why 2022 Matteo Bellisimo is not sifting through multiple offers. He very well could have a pro contract in front of him after HS before he sees an NLI. Riddle me that one Bat Man. Not a better RHH hit tool in N CA than what he possesses.

One of the better uncommitted players in California, 2023 CF Kai Smith of

just missed HR then lines 1B to LF. Double to RCF 1st AB. Seen him a lot, RARELY off balance. All fields power and a plus runner.

So many professional catching prospects in N CA in the 2020 HS class (and all in the region were at our ProCase), Jacob Weiss of Atwater HS is one of them. This HR vs Tracy HS the other day.

TOP 2021s interested in attending our 2021 Super 60, please DM or email or text me and if I think you are a fit for that event (which draws MAJOR MLB heat), we will send you more information.
Congrats to 2019 LHP Grant Stevens of

There can’t be a better up the middle group of defensive players in Northern CA than C Ryan Lee, SS Eli Duncan, and CF Wyatt King, of St. Francis. Incredible athleticism and skill and effort. All three. Amazing.
