I'm gonna elaborate on why I hate this. When people look at a show like eva, popular critically acclaimed. They latch onto the characters, mechs, iconography and all the "stuff" that's recognisably eva and think "that's what makes eva good." But that's completely wrong.

Minor rant but I hate that so many people want every little detail to be spelled out. I see it many times that an adaptation full of subtext in how the characters move and act is decried as “cutting content” when they don’t have internal monologues that spell out everything.

What I can’t fathom about the “hamas is using human shields”rhetoric is that the whole point of human shields that they stop people from attacking you. You’re supposed to cry “that’s not fair they’re using shields” while NOT attacking because you value this innocent lives.
